Smiling Pumpkins

"Mom said I could only make 'happy' pumpkins this year."

Another painting done at Michaels. They were only supposed to be regular pumpkins, but I couldn't resist adding the Jack-o'-Lantern faces. It was what Bob Ross would call a "bravery test"--I would have had to repaint the pumpkins if I was dissatisfied with the faces. Fortunately, I'm very pleased with how they turned out.
The quotes up there are a little exchange between Jason and Marcus from the comic strip Foxtrot, by Bill Amend. They always have the best Halloween strips.
