Happy Arizona Abstract

Prompt time! And I’m on time this week.

Anywho, this is for the Rising-Artists prompt of the week. This week is “Happiness.” So…here’s a happy little abstract, painted using happy little acrylics on a happy little 2” x 2” canvas! I feel like Bob Ross right now….

I limited the abstract to the primary colors red, blue and yellow. Yellow has traditionally represented happiness, while red represents power or the sun. And while blue traditionally represents sadness, here it is the same color as the sky on a clear day….

The abstract is sort of based on American Southwest patterns, while the guy is based on the old Knowledge Adventure logo. If you have kids (or are a kid), invest in JumpStart. Ah, nineties edutainment!
